RESEARCH

FABRICATION (WIP)

I am a fourth year student at the University of Tennessee within their Bachelor of Architecture program.

Currently, I am working as a research assistant with Professor Mark Stanley on researching speculative futures in the Oak Ridge region and am a part of Space and Building Fabrication for the College of Architecture and Design at the university.

My current interests are in urban planning and urban zoning and how to make city’s better for the future through the use of architecture. Programs that have helped me with this have been working with the Civic Design Center during my study abroad in Nashville and using various GIS software to analyze and act. Other interests include the creation of handheld fabrication models and scene building in various render software.

SPATIAL MAPPING
Conceptual Designs
2022

Software Used: Rhino 7, Illustrator, Photoshop
Exploring the concept of spatiality and our orientation within it, this series of drawings captures the rhythm of daily movements within the mundane. By examining the choreography of an apartment and the spaces where daily rituals unfold, the room becomes an extension of the individual—shaped as much by their actions as by its physical boundaries.
The initial imagery presents a typical college apartment, meticulously detailed to include every piece of furniture and fixture. Interspersed quotes invite the viewer to trace the flow of habitual actions, such as brushing teeth or making a bed—small yet profound rituals anchoring our routines.
The subsequent images delve into the morning rituals that quietly propel us forward: cooking breakfast, folding clothes, washing dishes. These seemingly unremarkable acts—infused with the aroma of sizzling food or the texture of a favorite outfit—carry a quiet significance. They define the day’s rhythm, grounding us in the present while preparing us for what lies ahead. Far from mundane, these moments are the unsung milestones of our everyday lives.
